All of the UK Bookmakers offer fairly generous new player welcome bonuses and this one isn’t half bad either. Any deposit between £10 and £300 will be matched 100%, with a 40x wagering requirement on the bonus amount only (Not 35x deposit plus bonus as stated on this page). Unfortunately I signed up here quite some time ago when I was only making small deposits so I wasted the chance of a big, beatable bonus, by only dropping £25 in. If I was to take this bonus today I would probably consider going for the maximum of £300, considering that William Hill is one of the most trustworthy casino brands around here in the UK.
I do find it a little bit frustrating that the bonus only applies to the casino tab, and so you cannot use the bonus funds on any of the games contained in the Vegas, Macau or games parts of the site, although some of those other sections do have separate bonuses available which you are able to take separately after you have taken this one, so it could be worse. Also very positive is the fact that are basically no excluded slots – you are free to play your favourite games, whatever they may be… as long as they are Playtech anyway :S … I’m pretty sure it is only their games which are contained in the casino tab unfortunately, but at least it keeps things simple. Most of the table games and other non-slot games also have some amount of contribution to the wagering requirement too. I played a fair bit of Blackjack Switch which contributes 5% when I played with my bonus.
The maximum cashout of £2,000 is a little bit annoying, particularly if you choose to go for the maximum amount of bonus. I didn’t manage to make a withdrawal at all when I played so it didn’t affect me personally, but I know for some players this will be a definite frustration – if you were to start with the maximum balance of £600 then it would be perfectly feasible to end up with over £2K on a good day, and I’d really hate to have a bunch of my winnings stripped away by the casino.
Despite the flaws, this is definitely a very fair bonus and I expect many players could end up making a profit from playing this offer. Definitely recommended.
