I tend to think it's really quite pointless when a casino launches one of these new tabs inside their existing site - sometimes there seems to be little point in the whole thing whereas it best it might be done in order to promote and push a new game provider that the casino has recently started to offer. There's often one nice little side effect though - the casino will often e-mail all of their existing customers offering them a new "Welcome" bonus to try out the games in their new tab, and that's exactly what happened to me with William Hill Vegas.
I hadn't played at any William Hill on-line site since the frankly terrible "William Hill Casino Club" back around 2012. That casino gathered an awful reputation for slow/no pay problems and was as bad as any of the dodgy playtechs you could think of. As I understand it that whole operation was nothing to do with the larger William Hill company in all but name, and I'm glad to learn that the whole thing was shut down a long time ago and the people who were involved have nothing to do with the current WH on-line operation.
Before deciding whether to take up the e-mail offer of a 100% match I wanted to check out exactly which games could be played and which other terms and conditions I might need to be aware of. I was surprised to learn I wasn't familiar with any of the games in the Vegas section and infact I can't find any of these games available in free play mode here Askgamblers either. I decided to give them a go anyway because of the low 30x bonus wagering requirement but decided to stick to a small deposit incase I didn't enjoy them. As it turned out I'm glad I made that decision as I wasn't impressed with the Vegas games and unsurprisingly support told me I could not use my balance to play the games in the casino or slots sections of the website.
Amazingly I did stick it out and walked away with a small withdrawal - albeit for just £5 more than I had initially deposited. This was processed back to my Skrill account in a few hours and I have played at William Hill again since, though not in the Vegas section.
William Hill have recently sent me an offer to try out their new "Macau" tab but I think I'll be trying the games out with a regular deposit before I decide whether to accept another bonus that can only be used on some unknown games!
