Checking the terms and conditions at Monte-Carlo I was pleased to see that there aren't too many nasty rules attached to the bonuses at this casino - there's a relatively high per spin limit of £25 too, much more than I ever consider playing but I'd imagine there could be quite a few big players who will really appreciate this high limit. The wagering requirement is lower than average at 40x the bonus amount too, making this one of the easier to clear bonuses I have received over the past year or so. There are relatively few excluded games too and the terms expressly state you are free to play any game and infact the only item with a 0% contribution percentage is the double up feature in Video Poker games. That's fair enough considering that option has a 0% house edge!
One item I wasn't so keen on was clause 14, which is a typical "spirit of the bonus" style clause which might allow the casino to confiscate winnings based on pretty much anything if they so wished. Lots of otherwise reputable casinos have these terms though in order to protect themselves from groups of advantage players who might seek to abuse their promotions and if the casino is registered in a trustworthy jurisdiction as this one is I don't worry about these things too much. I'd still like to see the exact behaviors which are not allowed listed though rather than this kind of quick and dirty catch all.
Despite the lower than average wagering requirement my £100 balance didn't last very long at all - I guess I was betting a little high at the beginning with £2 per spin however I was hoping for an early big hit that could give me the kind of balance that could last a £4,000 wager. In the end I resorted back to Dead or Alive at 0.18 per spin with my last £40 or so but finished up broke without seeing a decent bonus round. I did only have five scatters here a few days ago though so I guess I shouldn't be too greedy!
A fun hour or so's gaming was had, and I certainly wish I could take this offer again and play my balance a little more carefully. That's how gambling goes sometimes though I guess!
