I never received 10 free spins as far as I can remember either. It's a nice addition I suppose but considering they are only worth £2 I can't see many players making their decision on whether to accept this bonus based on the free spins! Strangely the free spin winnings only have a slightly lower 35x wagering requirement. I recommend leaving these until you have either lost your deposit and bonus or have completed wagering and made a withdrawal just incase you get lucky and hit a big win - you don't want to end up with two sets of wagering to complete one after the other! I really hope that these free spins weren't added to the deal for exactly that reason, a kind of trap if you will - but it's impossible to know either way.
The bet size restriction is currently set at £6 - another rule which is commonplace today but simply did not exist until advantage players began to attack the casinos with their two tier betting strategies. I think a limit of £6 is fair but would like to see the restriction implemented in software to avoid the possibility of players having their winnings voided by accidentally breaking this rule - as ever, be sure to read the terms and conditions before you accept any bonus.
Sadly there has been another big change since I took this bonus, and that is that deposits made using e-wallets are no longer eligible to receive the welcome bonus. This rule has been implemented across all the casinos in this group and is infact becoming more and more common across the industry right now. My response to this has been to deposit using my Skrill Mastercard - simple but effective! I believe Neteller offer their own card as well and if you don't have either one of these it's well worth getting one as it also allows you immediate access to your withdrawal funds in addition to being extremely useful for getting around draconian bonus restrictions!
All things considered I do think I would still take this bonus if it was available to me today, but the sheer amount of negatives I have counted does make me feel very sad about the current state of casino bonuses right now. Perhaps its time the casinos came up with a different strategy for attracting new members as the ridiculous amount of restrictions that seem to be necessary when offering a typical welcome deposit match have got completely out of hand now.
