I really quite like cashback bonuses, and in fact the Video Slots welcome bonus plays very much like a typical cashback bonus – I used to play at Wintingo quite a lot before they stopped allowing UK players, and the regular drops of a couple of pounds would often boost my pathetic win rate a fair bit. The trouble with this Video Slots cashback offer though is that the 25% you get is set on a very unusual (and highly variable!) basis – they tell you that you will receive 25% of their “daily profit” in cashback!
Of course, the more you bet each day, the bigger slice of this unquantifiable pie you will receive, but I hate the fact that there is no way for a player to know how much they are going to receive whilst they are making their bets, and of course no way of verifying that the amount you receive in cashback is in any way accurate – after all, its not as if they are ever going to release spreadsheets showing how much everybody has wagered, and how much their profits on those wagers are!
On the plus side though, each time I play at Video Slots, I ALWAYS receive a cashback payment the following week – the minimum is set at just £0.50, so only the very lowest depositors/players will fail to receive something, and even if its just a few pounds, its still another chance at a win long after your deposit is finished and done with – I will normally take my cashback over to Dead or Alive on £0.09 - £0.27 per spin and just see what happens. On one occasion I actually hit a wildline for over £150 on a £0.09 spin from just £4.50 of cashback, and as there are no wagering requirements or restrictions on this money I was able to cash it out immediately and had it in my Skrill account just an hour or two later!
