I'm often quite reluctant to take a bonus of less than 100% if the wagering requirement includes the deposit as well as bonus amount - the reason why should be obvious, you are being asked to wager more of your own money than you are the bonus money before you are able to request a withdrawal, and to me that just seems unfair. Even if you accept that there has to be a catch when a casino gives you some free money then a D+B on a 50% match is effectively a tripling of the "bonus only" wagering requirement so in this case 35x D+B can be expressed as 105x bonus - that's a huge amount by anybodies standards and you can't just bump up your deposit amount in the hope of giving yourself a better chance because that of course just increases the wagering requirement correspondingly as well.
Nevertheless, it's difficult to find a decent RTG and I'd had a great time playing at Golden Euro a fortnight earlier when I used my second deposit 75% match and I did quite fancy getting my £50 free chip and 100% up to £250 match bonuses that were on offer should I make it to a sixth and seventh deposit within my first three months of signing up at the casino.
I'd been paid a fairly significant sum of money by this casino after my last session but decided to keep my deposit fairly small once again because of the unfavourable 50% match on offer this time around. I did feel a little "brave" though because of my success playing here that last time and was probably betting much too higher on a starting balance of just 55 EUR, and I went bankrupt very quickly.
Still, I rated the last bonus and it would probably be wrong of me to mark this stage of the offer down simply because I didn't win - I do think that a 50% match is significantly less attractive though than a 75% when there is a deposit plus bonus wagering requirement. There's no doubt in my mind that the vast majority of players will end up losing their deposit under this particular bonus and I think my judgement got a little bit clouded simply because of my recent withdrawal. Still a great casino overall though!
