Things started off a little badly though, I got two five of a kinds of character symbols very early on into my play which awarded just 1x and 3x my stake, and checking the paytable it seems 10x your stake is the most you can hope for from a five of a kind hit on this game. I was sure the game would have some big win potential somewhere but didn't want to sit and read through the paytable and rules in depth just yet, so kept on spinning hoping for something amazing from the features.
It took me a couple of hundred spins but I finally caught three bonus symbols on the centremost reels, which awarded ten free spins. The game promises additional random wilds during the free spins anad they certainly appear more often than during the base game, although it still seems a little stingy to me. The game awards extra free games randomly as well which is a bit of a cop out - okay I guess it's no different than being awarded them by random stops of the reels, but it still feels a bit cheap to me.
The Super Hero spins are clearly what it's all about though, you need to collect wilds during the regular free spins to increase the number of these special spins you receive with locked stacked character symols on reels 1 and 5. Any win containing a wild in these spins is awarded a random multiplier up to 10x, and once again you can collect extra Super Hero spins during this mode as well. All of this means the feature can take quite a while to play out, which feels nice until it finishes without a substantial win - out of five features I only had a win over 100x my stake once despite all the bells and whistles going on, and the feature doesn't feel all that easy to get either.
