This latest game offering from Microgaming is not from Quickfire but from Mahigaming, a name that is totally not familiar to me. The game itself is nothing new and follows in the same direction as another newly released game, Ninja Magic. The Bonus game plays exactly the same way to win free spins and multipliers, so Electric Diva is in fact no different than from Ninja Magic, except for their game titles and icons. I can safely tell you right now that one or two more of similar cloned games would and could be released by Microgaming soon enough!
'Electric Diva' is the dumb Wild symbol, 5 of which pay 300x the total bet, but there's no doubling of wins with it, only substituting other symbols in the same usual manner. The Guitars is the Scatter symbol, 5 of which pay 100x the total bet, but these Scatters do not activate any Free Spins game. Instead, a Green Alien acts as the Bonus symbol, but no payouts are given for them. 3 Bonus symbols award 1 free spin at 1x multiplier, 4 Bonus symbols award 2 free spins at 2x multiplier, and 5 Bonus symbols award 3 free spins at 3x multiplier. In a second screen, you get to shoot out as many Green Aliens as possible to win more free spins and multipliers. The maximum at any one time is 40 free spins with a 8x multiplier, which I soon found out, may probably only be achieved by getting 5 Bonus symbols. By getting 3 or 4, I could only achieve 38 free spins at 6x multiplier. Free Spins game cannot be retriggered. Symbols pay from 50x the total bet down to 2.5x the total bet, making the overall paytable very low indeed.
Playing the game was quite good, thrilling and fun, but the overall wins achieved so far were not so good. Three times the Free Spins game paid me nothing (zero win), but there were also good wins of 100x - 200x the total bet, achieved after playing 37 free spins with a 6x multiplier. Honestly speaking, I like playing Electric Diva better than Ninja Magic.
As with most other games, the first thing that I don't like is the very low paytable. It is very disheartening knowing that big explosive winnings may not be possible, and having to make do with whatever lower wins I can get. Then there's also the sickening fact that about 75% of the free spins tend to be worthless empty spins, when they should be paying out something small at least.
