At the very first time when I played with this game I was just wondering what was the meaning of the word of fright in the name of the game because all I could see was a not too attractive disco themed slot and there was nothing that would have suggested anything else. Anyway, I don’t really like the appearance of the game and don’t find it as a right interpretation of the theme. The graphics are blurred and not too greatly designed and the used symbols are really characterless and don’t have any visual power. So back to my introductory session with the game I got my answer for that question when I got an entry to the free spin session where an additional symbol, a Werewolf was implanted and I guess that’s why we have something to fear but in my opinion if this is the case, this product is more messed up what I thought. In normal game mode, as I said there’s really nothing pictorial, audio or any other elements what would give us a tip that this is more than just a disco game and it was really a big surprise for me when I saw the fearful symbol at free spins. I don’t know what was the original idea of the creators but I’m sure the game could be much better if either a Werewolf wouldn’t be involved here in any way or making the appearance more ominous, more mystic which would be a suitable displaying style to the secret theme of the game but as it is now I can’t really appreciate any solutions here and for me this is absolutely not a well-done job and my serious issues with it just simple doesn’t make it possible for me to appreciate or enjoy what I got here visually.
I would like to say that the game segment is much better than this and can compensate me for the very questionable interface but I’m not a liar and also don’t want to make things better than they are. It’s especially strange for me as we’re speaking here about a 243-ways slot and naturally the expectations are always higher when a gambler play with a game like this but based on my experience this product could be a disappointment if it was just a 20-, 25-payline slot but knowing it’s a multi-way slot the fiasco is more obvious.
The slot has very limited qualities to be a great gambling partner in moneywise standpoint and I don’t mean here necessarily the facts and numbers shown on paytable which are not bad but in reality playing the game the experience shows very different things. The best paying 5 of a kind win is worth respectable 1500 coins, five Scatters also reward us with 1250 times of coin value and even if the Wild doesn’t have win multiplying ability and it is just there to replace other icons in winning formula but a correctly working system with fair settings could be profitable under such circumstances but not here where the play sessions are often turns into nightmare. When I could spend almost $100 by playing with $1.25 bet and there’s no just one single spin what would give me back more than x3 of that bet, well, I think there’s really something serious problem with the game. Unfortunately, that not just once happened to me and basically other tries brought the same result and I think this can be just coincidence.
Anyway, the game offers a barely average free spin feature which is starting after 3 special Disco Night Fright emblems can be visible anywhere on the reels and this situation rewards 10 free spins. During the session all appearing dancer symbols might be turned into Werewolf symbol increasing the chance for the real deal of the game, namely, to win the grand prize, which are 7500 coins if 5 Werewolves form a winning combination. There is no win multiplier or any other plus that could help us to win regularly here and even if it’s nice to have a chance to win 7500 coins but in my opinion it’s just a theoretic possibility which is very tempting on the paytable but in reality there’s a very slim chance to ever see this winning combination on the reels and otherwise the free games doesn’t bring anything to the table and I remember the most I could collect here was no more than $30.
All in all, my overall opinion about this slot is very negative. There is a not too imaginative pictorial world what the used graphics and illustration methods can’t reflect well and a terribly rewarding slot which should offer much, much more than to be seemingly promising on the paper. I also can’t enjoy my playtime here as the game isn’t able to entertain me so the obvious question arises ‘Why should I play here and what are that things the game provides and make me force to be a frequently seen guest here?’ I think I really can’t answer this very simple question and it tells everything what I think of the game and obviously it also determines our relationships in long term. This product is a very unpleasant surprise for me and I just advise for everyone to avoid this product and choose another slot what really could give you anything what you look for in a modern video slot.
