Established in 2003, Absolute Poker has a lot of things going for them. The online poker room accepts US players, offers fast, reliable software and gameplay, provides an above average variety of poker games and presents a host of excellent bonuses and promotions to their members. What has held Absolute Poker back in recent years is the software. Many complained that it was laggy on older computers, though the online poker room has gone to great lengths to resolve that issue.

Though Ladbrokes main online gambling venue is a sportsbook operation, they have managed to do something other multi-lateral companies commonly fail at - creating a high quality online poker room that actually compares to that of an independent online poker room. The only thing lacking, however, is the player traffic, which is unfortunate since they offer such a great tournament schedule. The online poker room averages 1,400 real-money players in ring games and 5,000 in tournaments at peak hours. On the flip-side, the competition is quite loose since players typically come from the sportsbook and online casino venues of Ladbrokes. Re-Buy tournaments provide especially loose competition, averaging a 55% viewed-flop percentage.
