I happened to be looking at the kitchen's servery window, then I saw the Cook walked by, his nose high to the sky, holding a pot of goodies in his right hand...and then he fell! Good gawd! But he got back up, put the pot back in his hand, and smiled broadly. I wonder if he washed those fallen goodies before cooking them. Oh gees! What was that all about? Hmm, just the intro bit of the game, that's all. Hehehe.

So, what's cooking? Don't ask me, I'm a diner, go ask the cook! Hmm, okay, but is the Cook French or Italian? Well, with a long sharp mustache like that, he's probably Italian, or maybe French even, I don't know, but let me taste his food first then I'll know. Aww gees, so sorry, no menu available. No Ala Carte either, just a game on the table. So, are you ready to play and already excitable? Well, not anymore, not after I saw him falling down with all that vegetable! Hahaha.

The paytable is typical of very old Playtech games, and so is the Bonus Round too, the Bonus Round being the free spins game. I can't even be sure what those symbols really are, but 5 of the Wilds pay 10,000x the line bet, 5 Scatters (Cook) pay only 50x the total bet, oh gees, and getting the Bonus symbol on reels 1 and 5 awards a Bonus Round, where you pick one ingredient item to get the free spins number, then one sauce item to get the win multiplier. Free spins range from just 3 up to 20, the multiplier from 2x up to 10x, 20 free spins with a 10x win multiplier being the top award. I had managed to get this 20 free spins with 10x multiplier a few times before, paid out some nice big wins, but I cannot remember just how big they were. More free spins can be won during the free spins game, but the number of spins awarded is random, so it can be just 3 spins more, or up to 20 spins more.
Generally, I've had some good play sessions and some good wins too, but I must say that the paytable is on the low side, similarly with most of the other old games too. Depending on your luck during play, What's Cooking can play and pay reasonably well, as far as I can remember, and I certainly had fun playing it way back in time.

If Playtech has a slot named Chinese Kitchen it was almost a must-do thing to create another ‘cooking-food’ themed game to show much kindness to gamblers who love better other cuisine. The game primary viewpoint was to introduce the main ingredients with symbols so we can play here with meat, onion, salad, potato but the Chef also shows himself and some of his end products. With good, suitable and colourful graphics the visual effects are decent and it must have been a hard task to create a funny game with symbols like these but they did a good job and can say it’s a well architected, lovely product (but the jingle and donkey like sounds in the background are terrible).

Though this 30-payline slot doesn’t have own Jackpot but it offers players to play with ‘Dollar Ball’, a lottery type Progressive Jackpot side game of Playtech. The game’s own top prize is 10.000 coins if 5 Wild emblems form a winning combination but sadly it hasn’t got any win multiplying ability. Chef acts as scatter but the prize with 5 of them on the reels at the same time is not too generous as it just awards a 50 times of total bet amount.

Perhaps the best part of the game starts when the Cook Book figure appears both on the first and the last reels in the same spin and then the bonus/free game is given. There we have to make a sandwich and choose the proper components that determine the number of free spins (3-20) and the multiplier number (2-10). I say this is the best segment of the slot because it is surprisingly well rewarding extra session at most times and can gain some nice profits with only 3 or 4 spins too.

It’s not a complicated game and very easy to play with and I think it well represents the modern, ordinary games on the market. I believe it won’t be a fan favourite because it lacks the to bring real exciting elements but it works solid and still has the ability to cause some funny, enjoyable moments.

So guys, what we will cook today, mmm, when i remember how i played this game, specially bonus round, it made me hungry :P I start want to eat sandwich, which i was able to cook in this game bonus round.

This game is very old one from playtech, but apart from many other games from playtech which is old, that one have 30 paylines, so minimum bet is a bit high, 0.30$ per spin, and it is a lot for simple slot game. This game have progressive jackpot featured by dollar ball, but as you know i am almost never enable it, cause really did not see reasons for this. To enable it, i need to pay 1$ per spin, and if i match 5 number i win jackpot, best i ever see i match 3 numbers and it pay me 25$, but imagine how much i spend on it. 4 numbers pay 1% of jackpot, and i think hit 4 numbers is sick, because it is almost jackpot, but you get only 1%. Game has wilds, which pay great, like all old playtech slots, and bonus game which triggered on reels 1 + 5, there like i already said we make sandwich, ingredients award number of free spins, and sauce awards multipliers. Best sandwich that i made was 20 free spins x 4 multiplier, it pay me 200 x total bet, and this is my best win on this game. I play this game before, but now i am not play this game, like 90% other old playtech games.

Game has medium variance, high min bet, but bonus round is awesome, i love to make food in slots :P There is possible to play with jackpot dollar ball enabled, but i suggest not thrown money on it, as chances to hit it is even less than hit 5 wild reels on immortal romance, for example. Boring game, only bonus round can make me happy on it.
