The Fighter pilot is the Wild symbol, and as usual, it doesn’t pay for itself, and it doesn’t multiply any wins either. The Roundel (the British Air Force Insignia) is the Scatter symbol and pays 200 x the total bet for 5 of them. The Spitfire is the highest paying symbol at 10000 x the line bet for 5-of-its-kind. Pity the Wild symbol doesn’t do anything more than just to substitute other symbols for wins. 1 star down.
Even though a free spins feature game is all there is in Tally Ho, the free spins themselves are a delight to get. 3 or more of the Roundels symbols award 25 free spins, and every 3 or more of the Roundels appearing during the free spins game award another set of 25 free spins! There is no limit to the number of retriggers possible, but in truth, that’s just not possible. Nevertheless, I’ve won 3 retriggers before, for a total of 100 free spins, and it is just possible to achieve maybe up to 150 or more free spins, if you’re lucky enough. A very good feature of Tally Ho, despite the lack of any other feature games. No star down/up.
Unlike Triple Toucan, which requires 3 times the patience to play the game, Tally Ho is a surprisingly nice game to play and enjoy. The free spins may come at far intervals, but never as far apart as in Triple Toucan, and getting the free spins always bring in some excitement. To start off, there’s a lovely 25 free spins to play with, all wins are tripled, and each retriggering will award another super 25 free spins. No other game that I know of can give this many free spins! The 100 free spins that I won in one of my plays paid out a lovely 120 x my total bet, and that was without any single big win in any of the free spins. Getting 5 Spitfires, for example, would win triple the 10000 x line bet, for a fantastic 1500 x total bet win! Pity that the Wild symbols do not expand on the reels, as in Triple Twister for example, which would make Tally Ho another big hit for RTG. No star down/up.
