Oddly enough, the paytable is something else. The Prince, the Wild symbol, pays 15000x the line bet for 5 of them, which is excellent, and doubles all wins with it too. Nice! Roberta, the Window, the Scatter symbol, pays an acceptable 250 x total bet for 5 of them, while all the other symbols have low win values, from 2000 x line bet downwards. A mixture of excellent and average paytable. 1 star down.
There is only one feature to aim for, and that is the free spins feature game. Three or more Roberta anywhere on the reels award 15 free spins with a 3 x win multiplier. The Prince doubles all wins in the free spins too, so there are good 6 x wins to be won. 1 star down.
In play, Roberta’s Castle wasn’t so bad after all. Small wins came regularly, but mostly not sufficient to cover back what has been lost, so the bankroll goes a-yo-yo up and down, but gradually going down as expected. When 3 Roberta finally came, the windows opened up to reveal a Princess behind each window. So, the Princess has been waiting for the Prince from behind the window all the time, and so the game plot becomes clear. The first free spins game paid me about 15 x total bet. Not good enough, so I doubled up my bet per spin. The next few free spins games came quite early and were slightly better, paying 20 x to 40 x total bet wins, which brought my bankroll up and above my initial amount. Pretty good. When the fourth free spins game came but paid only 20 x my total bet amount, I decreased back my bet per spins, expecting a dry run next, which came true. The next free spins game came after a long run, gave a retrigger and 15 more spins, and with a payout of about 36 x total bet. I have made a small profit, so I decided to quit while still ahead. Overall, Roberta’s Castle is a good relaxing game to play. It doesn’t tense you up like some game does, the game play was well balanced, but the big wins have yet to come. Yeah, right, more plays needed, but I was satisfied for the moment and not looking for more. No star down/up.
