Paytable wise, all symbols have reasonably high win values, and tripled when won with Rudolph Wild symbol. Rudolph, for example, pays 2000 x the line bet, and 6000 x with another Rudolph. The same goes for all other symbols. The Thugs Scatter symbol, on the other hand, pays up to 20 x the total bet amount, but 5 of the Thugs Scatter symbol wins the Jackpot prize! Well, not a big jackpot really, but a big enough win anyway. 1 star down.
Return of the Rudolph offers 3 variants of the free spins feature game, namely Rudolph’s Rampage, Santa Strikes Back and lastly, Rudolph’s Revenge. Each feature game plays and pays differently. In Rudolph’s Rampage, find the 3 hidden elves and be rewarded with up to 50 free spins, in Santa Strikes Back, more free games can be retriggered, up to 9 times, and in Rudolph’s Revenge, all wins are at least doubled, with chances for retriggers by the Thugs symbols. Each feature game has its own advantages and good payout possibilities, and not forgetting getting the jackpot prize with the 5 Thugs Scatter symbols. No star down/up.
Playing the game is rather fun. Credits go a-yo-yo, Santa comes without his ho-ho-ho, and free spins are regularly on the go. Pretty good, even though the payouts may be small at times, but 100 x total bet wins did come two or three times, then followed by tiny winy payouts, all as expected of course. With only reel 3 having an Expanded Rudolph Wild, getting really big wins seem a little far-fetched and difficult. I guess the only hope is to get those 5 scatters on the reels and grab the jackpot prize, which is currently approaching $14700. If won at $0.50 bet per spin, that’ll give a whopping 29,400 x total bet win! But then again, I’ll probably have to wait until the moon turns green, or blue! Return of the Rudolph can be a good game at the right time, but I haven’t made any withdrawable win from it so far, so it’s 1 star down.
