In a way Olympic Slots is a very typical GamesOS product and it can be summarize in just two short attributes – nice look, poor payout. The slot chose the Olympic Games to its theme and if I consider the symbols represents all kind of sports it easily can be admitted that the possibilities were almost endless to assign imaginatively created symbols to the game. Of course it didn’t hurt if they have had great graphics and very good design and fortunately the creators thought it at the same way and most importantly they excelled in the implementation process, too. Boxing gloves with champion’s belt, hockey sticks-mask-puck, baseball bat-catching glove-ball-field or Olympic torch, medals are just few amongst what we can play with and I like very much almost all of the symbols’ design (maybe the Football’s is exception) to join the symbolic equipment, specific objects in one great looking pictogram. It really has an overall pleasant view and I’m sure no player out there who wouldn’t love it.

And here we are again at the Achilles’ heel of the GamesOS products. Unfortunately, this slot also failed the test of my standards in regards the game qualities. I can’t help when for example the Wild has not paying out ability in itself and what I hate when it doesn’t multiplies the wins when the winning combination needs it to be completed. The free spin triggering specific figure just does its activating task if there are at least such symbols on the reels at the end of the spin when award only laughable 3 spins (5 could give 30 extra games) and the bout poor qualities intact here too, no multiplier attached and doesn’t provide cash prizes. Sometimes I’m really sick of these limited features.

The Olympic Bonus game is a little strange for me but it maybe just because of my new science. Being a huge sports fan and a constant follower of all World games mainly regardless of the kind of sport but I don’t remember I’ve ever seen and followed any fishing competition or championship and never knew it would have added to the Olympic Games. For some strange reasons the developers picked up fishing as the suitable theme of the side game despite of choosing any one of the more hundreds sports that are really played at Olympics.

Anyway, this fishing theme is realized into the proper selections of the gears and spots as first we have to pick a location where we want to fishing (swamp, lake, pond, river, see) then a bait is selected (maggot, spoon, worm etc.) and finally a fishing rod must be picked and we’re ready to go fishing. The successful selections (from the second stage there are improper options to pick that end the side game) reveal their bonus prizes and after combining them to triggering bet the final won amount is determined. Sometimes it’s so weak in reward that I didn’t win back even the stake for the triggering bet so I think it says everything about this extra or how I feel about it.

So the ambivalence comes up again here and I never know whether I love this slot or hate it. I think I have every reason for both of that feelings and sometimes I wish it was only a poor game making easy my decision to not come here and play it but I really think the game’s visualization is very great and that’s why I love to return here however the terrible other section many times is a disqualification.
