Neptune’s Kingdom is a very cool name for a slot game and it hides so many possibilities in itself. I would envision a deep, blue ocean background image with underwater animals like clownfish and other swimming around and of course the great Roman mythological god Neptune would also be there somewhere.
When first time I opened the real Neptune’s Kingdom slot it was really a big disappointment (and unfortunately this wasn’t the last time I felt this feeling regarding this gambling product). OK, I understand it’s hard to materialize what I imagined for a 3-reel, classic slot but I really expected much more than this.

By the way, it seems there are at least 2 versions of it because at the casino I played with it was slightly different (Or is it just the difference between the flash and downloadable version? I don’t know). Probably they want to give back the atmosphere of a land based casino as we can see 3 one-armed bandits next to each other focusing to ’our’ machine. On the 3 reels we can play on not just one or three but possible 5 lines (of course it can be decided how lines we want to play on so if we wish it can be used as a conventional 1 line slot). The maximum winning is x150 if we have 3 treasure chest symbols diagonally, starting from the right top (it matters what payline is a winner because the 3 horizontal and 2 diagonal lines pay differently).

For my taste the reels and symbols are too small even if I use the full screen mode. The other thing that bothers me is all the indicator lines of our paylines are visible until the last reel stops making it more difficult to see the already very small symbols that I don’t like too much because there’s nothing beauty or artistic in them, they’re just fish, crab, triton and mermaid like something. Somehow I’ve got a feeling they wanted to create a real casino environment so much but it rather became a detriment of playing experience.

I think by now it became clear that I don’t really like this slot machine. If it was my job to make it better and find how to upgrade it, lot of works would be ahead of me.
