It’s based on the old English tales of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, taking you to their mystical world where you can discover untold riches. Take it for a spin right here for free, or go to WMS Casinos to play for real money.

Before you set off on this exciting adventure with Lancelot, be sure to set your bet. “Lines” alters the number paylines used and “Bet/Line” modifies the coin value, which ranges from 0.01 to 5. Having done that this, press "Spin" button to start the game. And if you want to spin the reels for a preset number of times, click on the "Auto Play" button in the left lower corner. On the other hand, you can immediately choose the total bet on all 40 playlines from the slider and start the game.

The Lancelot feature is the main feature and is triggered with just 2 symbols on consecutive reels. You need to get 2 or more Lancelot Wild or Guinevere Wild stacked symbols starting on the 1st reel to activate the feature. The number of free spins you receive depends on how many stacked wilds you obtain.

2 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds will give you 5 free spins whilst 3 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds will give you 10 free spins. 4 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds rewards you with 20 free spins and 5 Lancelot/Guinevere stacked wilds gives you a whopping 50 free spins.

In addition, free spins are subject to a 2x multiplier so you could potentially get 50 free spins with all wins doubled. What’s more during the feature, 2 or more stacked Lancelot or Guinevere wilds starting on the leftmost reel will reward you with additional free spins.

Lancelot is an old video slot game powered by WMS (Williams Interactive) software provider. Even if the game is old, I never played it before – so it was pretty new to me. Hehe. I was hoping to get some big wins here since some of WMS software games can provide massive potential on winnings.

Lancelot has 5 reels and 40 paylines. The minimum bet is set to 0.40€. I played it on minimum bets, I never raised it because I had bad luck on it while I was playing. I lost in a short time 20€ on it, but I still played it, until I got free spins feature. To be honest I didn't know how many free spins will I get and after I got 2 wild symbols on reels 1 and 2 I was dissapointed. The free spins feature starts with only 5 free games, so yeah I didn't expected anything big from it in those 5 free spins.

Later, when feature almost ended I retriggered it with additional 5 free games. The winnings were around 10€ from min bet, so not so cool result at all.

The main game is ok, but nothing so special. I got bored, really. This game could offer some bonus game too, it would be much more fun to play it. I had one big win into main game, around 18€.

Otherwise I think this is not so cool game from WMS software provider – at least for me. So I will rather stick with other games like: Montezuma, Raging Rhino, Bruce Lee, Wizard of Oz and Zeus. I think those games are pretty much better than this one. I will rate this game with 6 out of 10 possible stars.
The free spins feature is not so cool as I expected. 5 free spins at the beginning of the feature is set to low, I would like to see at least 8 or 10 free games at the start. The payouts during main game could be better too.

"WMS" has implemented the concept of stacked wilds in many of its slots of 5 x 4 reels, a simple concept with very good results because of how attractive it is for the vast majority of players, and in "Lancelot" additional to assume the function of substitution of standard symbols, wild symbols also serve to trigger the five free spins round of the game when they appear adjacent on reels 1 and 2, which could be considered a beneficial way for the player to activate the feature; since it is not strange to see how we can re-trigger this feature once or twice, a pretty exciting situation for profits since it implies that all our earnings are multiplied by 2 during the free spins. In some way I think it is also an advantage that the feature is triggered with wild symbols rather than scatters because such symbols are often interposing in the formation of lines continuously during the base game, however, and fortunately, in Lancelot it is quite the opposite.

As for the pay table, you could say that its rates are quite low, but this is understandable as the wild symbol always appears stacked and it does often by the way, then we can see it as a way to equilibrate the payouts levels in search of a fairer game for both the player and the casino.

This game was one of those which I have always in mind when accepting some kind of bonus with the idea of using it to meet the wagering requirements demanded by casinos, taking advantage of its variance that could be placed at a level between low and medium, and its theoretical RTP of 96% is quite acceptable from my point of view. I can conclude that Lancelot will not be the top 1 WMS slot for me, but I could place it as one of my favorites and I think it is quite likely that you also like it if you decide to give it a try.
Lancelot is one of the older games from casino software provider WMS. While this game was widely offered years ago, I keep seeing less and less casinos with this game around. Not sure what’s going on behind the scenes, but I guess there is probably some disagreement related to licenses or whatever. I believe it’s still available at CasinoEuro though.

Anyway Lancelot is a video slot with an Arthurian type of theme. It’s a game that’s widely available in land-based casinos. Anyone who’s slightly interested in history knows that Sir Lancelot has a legendary status. The slot is based on the knight and the symbols you’ll find in this game are among those you’d expect, such as Merlin, Excalibur, Guinevere, crowns, castles, helmets, rings, shields etc.

The video slot Lancelot contains 5-reels, 4-rows and 40-paylines. The minimum is a bit expensive with 40 cents, but I’d say it’s totally worth it. The symbols do appear a bit unusual though with Lancelot and Guinevere being stacked. Both act as wilds and they can be used interchangeably.

The base game payouts are somewhat disappointing though with only 5 euros for a 5oak of Lancelot. Keep in mind that the symbol appears stacked though, so it’s possible to have a decent hit if you have more paylines with a 5oak. Although base game can be a bit dull, the fact that the free spins can easily be triggered does somewhat compensate for the lack of action.

You only need 2 wilds on the first two reels to win 5 free spins. Getting more wilds, means that you receive even more. The nice thing is that during free spins the feature can be re-triggered again for additional free spins.

I once won 50 free spins after having a five of a kind. The base game awarded me around 50x bet size while I was looking forward to free spins. During free spins I had additional re-triggers, but what disappointed me was that I hardly had any good wins.

I mean 60 spins and only winning 24 euros (60x bet) is not good enough for me. Most spins were dead and I was hoping for more. But just like many WMS slots, they do give you decent playtime without swallowing up a balance quickly.
Paytable could have been more generous in my opinion.
