Firstly, and probably most importantly, there are NO WILD symbols in this game! Why? Don't ask me. Maybe Microgaming thinks this Double O Cash agent is so smart he doesn't need any Wilds to help him out with the money issues. Well Microgaming, you are blardy wrong! No Wilds mean no big wins, no additional wins, no thrills, no fun, no nothing! Double O Cash becomes a much more boring game! There are two types of Scatter symbols, the FreeSpins and the Bonus symbols, both paying 50x the total bet for 5 of them. The symbols in the game pay from 10,000x the line bet for 5 of the 'Double O Cash' symbols, down to 200x the line bet for 5 of the lowest paying symbol. The win values are generally quite good, but the absence of the Wild symbol drops the overall rating of the paytable down to just average.
3 or more of the FreeSpins symbols appearing adjacently on the reels trigger 10 - 30 free spins randomly but without any win multiplier attached. Oh, what the argh! The Free Spins game cannot be retriggered and has a maximum win capped at 100,000 coins. Hmm. Just imagine how difficult it would be to achieve this maximum win without any multiplier! 3 or more of the Bonus symbols appearing adjacently on the reels trigger the Bonus Mission game, whereby you get to shoot down 3 items from the 15 items to win cash prizes. Now here's another unreasonable catch to the game - picking only 3 items out of the 15, not the usual 3 out of 5 choices, thereby making your chances for picking the highest paying item even more slim!
Playing any game without any Wilds cannot be thrilling or exciting, no matter how the other features could and would pay out. Why Microgaming chose to skip Wilds out is beyond me. The Free Spins game proved to be unexciting, as I soon found out, with most spins being empty ones, as per typical Microgaming standards. I could only achieve payouts of below 10x up to 13x my total bet. Now those are really deplorable payouts! The Bonus Mission game tends to pay better, with a number of payouts in the 30x - 40x range, but nothing bigger than these so far. After playing out a few times , those Free Spins and Bonus Mission games just couldn't keep my interest for long and I tend to quit playing soon after.
Double O Cash is yet another game that fails to deliver in many aspects, and yet another Microgaming game that I wouldn't want to play ever again!
