Baywatch slot is a 30-payline video slot, powered by IGT (WagerWorks) software provider. The game features the attractive lifeguards and the glistening water as the main symbols. There are 5 reels set against the beautiful beach in the background. Players are welcome to try Baywatch slot for free on our website, or chose any of the reputable IGT Casinos found in our listings.

Before you head over to the beachfront, you are advised to set your bets first. Press the arrows by “Stake/Line” to adjust your coin denomination. The game has a fixed wager of 1 coin per line. Use the arrows by “Lines” to select the number of active paylines. Once you are ready hit “Spin”, or press “Autospin” to play the game without interruption.

There is a lot more to Baywatch than the attractive bodies. The Wild cards will increase your winning chances, by replacing other symbols with the exception of the Scatter. To be more precise, the Wild logo is the game’s Wild card, which will not occur on the reel 2. The Speed Boat Wild is another Wild and it may only occur on the reel 3 when a hidden wild reel set is activated.

The Lifebelt is the Scatter. It contributes to the progressive jackpot and increases the player's chances of winning one. Land at least 3 Lifebelts simultaneously to trigger the Free Spins bonus round.

The Rescue Child, the Rescue Woman, and the Rescue Man are the special symbols and may only appear during Free Spins. Once you land them, you will have the opportunity to win additional cash prizes if you complete the minimum number of levels given.

I know 3 slots with the name "Baywatch" inspired by the famous and old series starring Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff among others; one is the version of Playtech simply called "Baywatch", the version of IGT which is called "Baywatch Heatwave" and the version of OpenBet which is called "Baywatch Rescue"; my review is aimed specifically at "Baywatch Rescue" slot of OpenBet to be the one corresponding to the image displayed on the presentation of this post in this section of AskGamblers and also because in my opinion it is the most exciting one between the 3 versions despite that it may not be the most visually appealing.

The layout of "Baywatch Rescue" is 5 x 3 reels, it has 30 paylines and has a yellow wild symbol that basically works as substitute for standard symbols and appears on all reels except reel number 2 and to its credit it is a supremely active symbol. The paytable is not exactly crazy but in my view hitting average is great. Still, what I liked most of this slot is the high frequency with which it is triggered the round of "free spins" that along with "Speed Boat Wild" are the two special features included in this slot.

- Free Spins Feature: scatters used to trigger this feature can be identified by having the icon of a lifebelt and 3 of them award 10 free spins and 4 award 20, I suppose five allow 30 but I cannot assure it because I never got this number of scatters simultaneously. One of the main attractions of this round is a kind of jackpot that accumulates every time a scatter appears, therefore, for each lifebelt obtained, the value of your total bet will be divided and charged to 3 swimmers who are in danger of drowning, a child, a woman and a man, whose icons appear on the right side of the reels; these symbols only appear on the reels during the round of free spins, and before each spin a number of lifebets are scattered across the reels and each swimmer must complete a certain number of lifebelts in order to you collect such prize, and the more lifebets you have accumulated better your chances at every turn to rescue a swimmer.

- Speed Boat Wild: eventually it appears on reel number 3 a speed boat icon with a hidden wild, then the whole reel 3 turns into wild and one symbol to its left and another to its right will become wild too; this feature can be very productive if you have high symbols leading to a big win with a possible combination of 5 of a kind.

It is possible I personally have been luckier than usual on this game, or maybe it's that my strategies have worked very well with it, and this clarified because opinions about "Baywatch Rescue" are totally divided throughout network, but personally I consider this OpenBet creation a sensational slot.
In all of my gambling years I have not seen many games based on Bay Watch series. Even though the series was super popular ( not for the acting or plot) for some reason casinos don't bother with it. The only other place where I have seen and played a game with Bay Watch theme was NetEnt Casinos. So when I saw this game I had to try it. The curiosity was getting best of me and I deposited and started playing.

First glance and the game look fine. CJ is gorgeous as always and the beach theme is bringing good memories. I start playing and straight away notice the huge amount of wilds on the reels. They come out every spin and I am getting four or five of a kind a lot. But the excitement does not last long as the small pays interrupt my celebration. As I spin I realize that the NetEnt game is much better and more fun.

There is a feature in here and I was really interested in it. Wondering what it might be like makes me day dream and I dont notice my balance getting low. The goal is to get three scatters which would give me free spins. I spin and I spin and I cant even get two scatters to come out in one spin. I get one scatter all of the time and it adds 3 points to the bottom right corner and I have no clue whats going on. Every now and then it will increase the pays on the right side and keep on adding. I was on 48 and still no sign of the feature. Before I knew it this stupid game took my money and I could not continue. I get so pissed off sometimes thinking why did i not quit, but then I remember I'm a gambler :)

Over all the game is stupid, the pays are small and feature is impossible to get for me personally. My rating 3 out of 10.
