A few days ago, on 29th September 2014 the Global Gaming Awards was held at the Titian Ballroom, Venetian Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas. This amazing event has gathered the entire gaming industry including that operate both on and offline.

Companies were nominated based on their achievements throughout the past year and a truly independent judging panel comprised of 50 leading industry business men and women adjudicated the various categories.

There were 12 categories; however we dedicated this article to the ones that are important to our online gambling world - Digital Operator, Digital Product of the year, Digital Industry Supplier and Digital Gaming Innovation.

Digital Operator

In the category of Digital operator of the year 888 took the award leaving behind harsh competition comprised out of 9 other valuable digital operators. Right behind 888 was PokerStars that have to be satisfied with their Runner-up rank this year.

Digital Product of the year

The award for the Digital Product of the year went to Microgaming in the tight race with their runner up NetENT.

Digital Gaming Innovation

However, NetENT haven’t left Venetian Palazzo Congress Center empty handed that night either. They snatched the Digital Gaming Innovation of the year award and they were very proud of their success.

Digital Industry Supplier

The Digital Industry Supplier of the year award went to GTECH leaving Playtech in the Runner up position and 8 other awesome suppliers to work harder and hope to win this prestigious award hope to win next year.
