  1. Maybe it's just me. But I can't get the picture here. You say we appreciate things differently, thus it would be better to just generalise everything? I mean no matter what we value more than the other. I don't really think a casino with a 5day verification process and 5 day pending time would receive a 10/10 next to "withdrawals - process" from many users. I say this because if there is actually anybody that would value a 5-day wait over instant, they could still achieve this in the "instant payout" casino. Simply wait 5 days, and then make your withdrawal. However, with a more defined rating system. You might still give a casino with the 5day pending time, a 10/10 overall, because you value their bonus system so much. Ok then. At least we can agree on us being different. Nothing wrong with that.
  2. Well, guess you got a point there. But wouldn't you agree that instead of just a single "overall" bar with 1/10 stars for, having it split up in 3-4 of them, that are more specific. We could still give a low or high rating, but we could also indicate what it was that was so good, or bad. Considering we do value things differently..
  3. Although I do I agree with spinspinspin about the suspiciousness behind many user reviews. In fact I did notice this with my previously mentioned casino. The first reviews to this casino, where made by two accounts that signed up on AG just when this casino opened for business. There are almost 1200 casinos here, but they both picked this very one - gave it a 10/10, and then seem to have left the building for good. No more activities. But it is what is, and I have to agree with miss queen of many many posts as well.. that would perhaps not be the very best approach to address the "issue". But at least I would vote for a bit more comprehensive reviews by the users and from AGs side, maybe give us the chance to specify what was actually good. That is, split things up in "support/withdrawals/layout" etc. I might want to hand out a 10 on their support, but a 1 on withdrawals... And actually, that is why I personally hardly ever post reviews. Because I don't wanna mislead my fellow gamblers out there...
  4. And that I could not agree on more. I mean the Ironman part. How did you find out? Well, we all know that this very topic, will never be more than a moment of debate that will end right where it started. But debating is good. I think. As long as anybody involved is aware of the fact that in the end - we will all just be as much right as we will be wrong. But even then - it really is kinda a hard to stop thinking... without saying; "but I still think I'm more right...". Right? So. To prove that. This is, and will always be my standpoint. To receive a high rating there must be something to refer to. Other than highly advanced formulas. I don't feel the need of making a simple thing advanced. That would be like looking at somebodies newborn baby and saying "hey fella, you're the best friend ever". I can tell that from my formula. Please see the ironi. Since I am the ...Iron..i..man.. Amen Spiderman. Nothing to debate on that, I tell you that! Take care!
  5. Oh my... you mean there really is no comma to the left of the last two digits in your total posts? Well, I guess if you do something over 12k times, theres gotta be some kind of passion or something to it Impressive. But watch out. I'm catching in on you.
  6. If you look at the recent posts, you'll find that I've actually raised a little question about that, them ratings. Besides stalling or pending, I find it even more odd that a casino manages to reach top 20 after just a few weeks open, when they although indeed did provide speedy payouts within a few hours, there was another thing to it - a max withdrawal of €1000. Per Week. Choose the wrong currency, like I did, it turned out to be even lower. €100. Per week. Don't like complaining though. AG is free. I guess it's up to each and everyone of us to decide if we agree or not, with the ratings. By trying out. I've stopped looking at the ratings and use the information provided by AG on every casino.
  7. Thank you guys for the recent replies. I always appreciate people taking their time in doing so, and I have to say I find the comments almost elegant. Somehow. English aint my native language, but I always try my best to keep it at the highest possible level I can get at. Now, as far as this subject goes, well, as ValDes pointed out - there's of course more than one perspective to choose from, in terms of how we look at it. And I see reviews in terms of a guidance. Because that would be helpful. If I choose one of many paths to walk my way through the jungle, I don't think the people next in line would prefer to know how I felt about it, but rather what it was actually like. So If I tell you that you're good to go down that path. You can bet on it and head on. What I mean is, we have different sections here. AG review, User review, Complaints, Forums. If we want to express some feelings on just one thing, why not use the forums? And if you're all about facts, and have gathered all of them straight and feel ready to share them - pick up them stars and start throwing. In the review section now. A thing and place... So, this is not to say my way is the way. Not even slightly. I'm visiting AG, and not the other way round, thus if somebody should adapt, it would be me. I'm merely, you know, sharing my feelings on the subject. But in the forums AG has nothing but my respect. In what you do - and how you do it. AG has undoubtedly grown to become a respected trademark. Where an complaint in the early years seemed to hardly tickle even the smallest casino under the chin, it can now provide a real slap in the face, even to the big ones. How cool is that With that said. Keep up the great work and thanks again for your inputs.
  8. Instant baby. Instant. Unless it's a "large" sum. I don't go to the bank and make instant deposits to my account, then expect to have to wait 24hrs at the ATM to make a withdrawal. Maybe some people think that would be acceptable. I don't.
  9. Hi Thanks for sharing your thoughts as well as AGs policy. I guess we can say then that user reviews are more of a user experience, may it be brief or extensive or even based on just one piece of all the pieces. Maybe I value reviews a bit too much. I really don't see it much as something I would do for myself, but rather to help others as well as not ruining somebodies business, if we look at the other end of the scale. As I mentioned theres the 1/10 rating the we can throw out based on a 5min "bad experience". Like a bonus we should receive, but for some reason didn't. If I look at a new casino and find 3 reviews, and all 1/10 - I don't bother even reading. That has to be a crappy place. Don't think thats fair actually. But honestly, lately, due to extensive spamming from affiliates, I actually would want to give those casinos a 1/10 - based on just that. Maybe I should... But hey, I'm just the 3 post guy... what do I know Thanks once again for you input!
  10. So, maybe this topic should be placed under the Askgamblers section, but I think of it more as a general thing. Mostly. Quite often I see that a 10/10 review can contain sentences like "just signed up the other day..." and/or "...never actually made a withdrawal" Wow now, wait a minute. Personally, I don't even see how that is possible if you just signed up, and if the casino just opened up last week - that last star, should be greyed out. A casino should earn that. That takes time. (similarly, I don't think a 1/10 is fair either in many cases, other story though). But what really "bothers" me (not really, hence the "") is that we are ready to hand out the gold medal. The best of all good. Without even trying the one thing, that very thing that tell us more than anything else about the casino. When we ask for "their" money. That is part of their livelihood. Sure a lion might be friendly if you walk up with a big juicy 20 pound stake. You might even be able to pet them like a little chihuahua. Now, try take it back and walk away... Just look at the complaints section, out of the 16 cases on the first page, 100%, that is 16/16 are about....WITHDRAWALS. In one way or another. Might it be stalling/declining. Whatever it is - it is about that very thing - that thing that we don't even take into consideration when we hand out 10 stars. Who cares right? Lets say you meet somebody a night out and buy them a few rounds. After enjoying a few drinks on you, maybe smile at you at best, you suddenly feel the urge to tell the world that this is the man or woman we can all trust from now on. The true definition of a perfect human being. 10/10. Of course they will pay next time. Why wouldn't they? Right? mmmm.... Actually there was more to this post. But I realise I might already just stepped on a few toes here. Didn't mean that, if that's actually the case. I'm just the 2nd post dude
  11. Well, I did sign up the other day. Had to close it again. Deposited approx €900 over a few days, or actually, it was not Euros, it was in my local currency, SEK. However, when I actually managed to hit a few wins, having my total balance to approx €2000 (about 19000 SEK) I decided to make a withdrawal. Started with 10.000 SEK - rejected, amount to high. 8k, 5k, 2k - all too high. Finally the 1000 SEK was accepted. I couldn't find any max withdrawal limits anywhere on their site. But on askgamblers, it sais 1000 Euros / WEEK! And as if that is not a ridiculous amount - it can even be lower if you chose another currency. So, in my case, Swedish Krona - it will not be the equivalent of 1000 Euros - it will be 1000 SEK, that is, €100 per WEEK. Decided not to wait 19 weeks to receive my funds. After receiving no respons to my emails requesting closure - I had to wait 1,5hr in the chat when I finally got a respons and closed the account. "play big - win big - and spend a lifetime on weekly requests to receive a tiny little portion of it" ? At least that fraction was actually paid out within the hour.
