Shocking news from Amsterdams

Icymod

Recommended Posts

I just received shocking news from Amsterdams casino and all the other casinos! This does not bode very well to the north! Afraid that this will extent to other online casinos......like Fruity Casa so the lady working there...........you better start talking!!!!

So Skrill unlocks it's availability again and casinos like Amsterdams slaps us with restrictions! What else is next in this troubling year!?

Good Morning Quickwitted,

We have just been informed by Netent that due to regulatory restrictions all casinos are no longer in a position to offer any Netent Games to the Canadian Market.

We still have over 150 other games you can enjoy including Foxin Win’s, Merlin’s Million, and Medusa amongst others. Within a few weeks we will also be adding Microgaming slots to our game portfolio which we know are very popular in Canada.

<SNIP>

We look forward to seeing you back at the slots!

Your Amsterdams Casino Team

No NetEnt

Not a lot of IGT games to play in casinos due to more restrictions except for PlayOLG

Some fun with Microgaming

Skrill turned alright to become active again

No Luciana equals no joy ride in the forum. And no NetEnt in Fruity Casa means she better well fire up that pot to win me back!

Anything else you have for me 2016?

Well, my fate hasn't been any different from yours mate.

2016 has brought me practically nothing from my games...no wins worth mentioning...absolutely nothing big so far.

The only thing that's getting big is my list of newly joined casinos.  :p

Canadians are getting a super rough deal these days, I bet the Americans are behind it personally. How can a supposedly modern civilized democracy justify all these restrictions on a common entertainment activity? I feel blessed to live in the UK although I hear we have more restrictions coming real soon too :(

Anyways, NetEnt is getting harder to pursue in casinos. Fruity Casa in my opinion  will no longer be one in which I will play on again! The choices are much.....shorter.... and it reminds me of the "revelation" from her. Speaking of which I left a mega post here http://www.askgamblers.com/forum/topic/6401-fruity-jelenaluciana-where-art-thou/

Sorry for the bad news, Icy. However, what you experienced is exactly the same what's happening to me recently! NetEnt games are no longer available to Bulgarian players and I had so visit dozens of casinos only to be confirmed the same shocking news over and over again! Dam*!  From all the 20-30 casinos I used to play now there's just 2 still allowing me to play NetEnt slots and won't be surprised of they soon follow the same restrictions and then... then will come the "No-More-DOA" day for Guru!!!  :cray:  :shok:

OMG! No more DOA for you???  :o

Damn! That would be really tragic, mate...just like the day when I could no longer play Mr Cashback and Dolphin Reef...

that changed my whole life drastically...for the worse...until now.

No NetEnt means no DOA, no CFTBL, no Twin Spin, no GNR, no Jimi...oh what the argh!

'Jungle Jim' or 'Lost Vegas' may be very happy to know this...but I ain't going to MG even if there's no NetEnt for me.  :p

Tragic news indeed considering how much I love DOA and of course how generous it was with me over the last couple of years producing most of my winnings anyways... :(

But, as a person who never give up, I am trying to look upon this unfortunate event from the brighter side, simply because it's a great opportunity to try and 'taste' some new providers and see if I could find my next DOA. ;)

So far, I find Endorhpina's video slots to be a great substitute as due to their high variance they are capable to produce some really serious wins even playing with relatively small stakes.

Besides, I could still play my beloved Dead Or Alive across a bunch of casinos. None of them paying as fast as I wish, but what the heck, you cannot have it all! :D

Well, let's hope those remaining casinos won't restrict NetEnt games from you in the coming future.

Finding some other substitute games can never be the same, as I have found out so far. But that's life...what to do!  :p

Oh wow I really feel for you ValDes. I can't imagine having DoA cruelly stolen away from me like that. I'd carry on playing of course, but it would certainly change a whole lot about the way I gamble most weeks. Have you tried Casino Zeppelin? If that's still available it's very close to a DoA clone in many ways!

Yup and I find it to be a great high variance game indeed. However, casinos offering Yggdrasil and accepting players from Bulgaria is in fact even more rare combination that casino having NetEnt slots still available for Bulgaria players... :(

One way or another, I believe the DOA days are counted and sooner or later I shall have to 'move' the majority of my game-play to another high or even ultra high variance video slot. Sincerely hope to be at least 50% as successful as I was with Dead Or Alive. :D

What exactly do you suppose "regulatory restrictions" means? How is one software provider any different than another provider? Would it be that the Canadian government requires NetEnt to pay a licensing fee and that NetEnt doesn't feel they would be getting good value for their money because of a small Canadian online gambling population? Or would it be that NetEnt is buying into the propaganda that gambling is illegal for Canadians?
