Bet at home blocked my account

Hello,

I hope I helped here.

I have registered with bet-at-home a few years and a play a little.

A month ago created an account with bet at home my girlfriend. She deposit money to her bet account.

We have common bank account, I and She are owners of bank account.

She sent the money to her bet account from our bank account as me, she did´t sense that. It can be a reason to blocked account?

I sent my identity card and confirmation of bank account ownership.

I suppouse that is problem to block account but I don´t know, because support doesn´t communicate with as. The support sent one email, about blocked account.

I sent an email why is blocked but nobody communicate with me.

I want to resolve this problem and unblock account.

I am sorry to hear for this unfortunate events but you might use this opportunity to learn that you must get approval if you share IP, account details, address etc.

 

If you didn't breach T&C's and they closed your account, you can submit complaint through AG, so far I know.

Hello matas82 and welcome to the forum

 

This problem is a straight forward one the reason your account is blocked is because of the two accounts using the same bank details, or shared ip. What you should have done was contacted the casino before setting up your girlfriends account.

 

Now they've blocked your account your chances of getting it back may be slim! But not impossible. I'd contact the casino and explain your situation and see what they can do. 

 

Both me and my partner both play at casinos under a shared IP although we never use the same banking details, but in my experience it's down to the discretion of the casino what they do with you now. A good casino may be able to help you out, but don't hang on to your chances to much.

 

In future, I'd advise you to always check with the casino before setting up another account under the same IP and if I've read your post right you're saying you have a joint bank account yes? This may well cause a lot of problems. Has your girlfriend got her own account?

Well here's the problem matas - even though I know you were unaware you broke their terms, and I honestly believe you are being genuine here because I get it, you did break the terms and that usually means that a complaint will not be approved.

 

However...Since the casino hasn't actually confirmed that this is the reason they have closed your account, it's merely an assumption I would submit your complaint on the basis that you do not know the reason why your account has been closed.

 

After all not all casinos will block you because you use a shared IP - On the contrary me and my partner play in loads of casinos that are the same. The only casino I have ever had my account blocked is NextCasino which we now have to share one account.

If neither of you has used a bonus then it should be possible to get the situation resolved as long as you are both able to provide your identity documents and so forth, but if the casino won't play ball then why not just move on to another ? Do you have some money in one of the accounts that they are refusing to refund?

 

Me and my boyfriend have our own flats but we still make a point to talk to casinos via live chat and get a note put on our accounts if possible incase we end up accessing a casino using each others wifi or something like that... there have been a couple of screwups, most recently at Thrills casino when I cost my boyfriend a few hundred pounds of withdrawal by signing up and taking their free spins using his wifi not realizing he had just signed up with them recently and taken the same offer, you can imagine how unpopular I was and I've been super careful not to repeat the mistake since... Treat this as your own warning and be careful in future!
