Slot malfunction or payout?

Hi everyone, im currently over in Japan and I just recently got a good chunk of winnings on the slots earlier today on some free spins. I play this machine a lot and the free spins are where it pays out. Once the free spins were done, I had around $1500 in winnings and it immediately said "Play disabled, call attendant, hand pay US $1533.75.  There was an attendant but no manager there and the attendant seemed confused of what to do as I couldnt pull my card out that contains the money and pressing any of the buttons did nothing. I asked maybe she should call someone and she did. She ended up putting an "Machine Malfunction" paper on the slot machine and asked for my name and number and put it in the computer and printed me out a malfunction recepit saying "AF GAMING MALFUNCTION RECEPIT: We have notified an AF Gaming Technician of this problem and apologize for the inconvienence caused by the machine malfunction. We will notify you as soon as a full report is completed by the AF Gaming Technician. Please retain this recepit for your records. Attached is a picture of the machine immediately after the free spins. The attendant told me to come back Tuesday when the technician will be in. Should I be expecting to receive the money or no?

I am not sure how things at in land casino works, but if I were you I wouldn't leave at all. They should have someone onsite or on standby in case of emergency.

 

Maybe someone has a better answer for this. Just wait a little longer.

What malfunction??? That's a hand pay Jackpot amount. They should have paid you right away on site, no malfunction there.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experience :( 

 

The only answer I can give at the moment is that I saw the lady who won Jackpot in Las Vegas received her winnings after the same thing happened to her. Machine malfunction plus she won over 100 000 dollars.

Call them, go there and ask to talk to everyone!

 

I wouldn't leave until I get chance to speak with people who are in charge of this!

P.S. I don't know if you like online casinos, but there is many reputable casinos out there plus AskGamblers complaint service and they really hold players back and fight for their right while returning winning back to players.

Well, I'm afraid that both hajnrih and Awena who replied above are totally right... You were supposed to be paid by hand from the local casino staff immediately.

In my humble opinion, you should return to the casino and ask them to pay accordingly. If they refuse, well, I believe you should seek further help from the police.

Sorry everyone for such a late reply. After seeing the responses to my issue, I immediately went back to the casino and was able to finally get in touch with the manager and he paid me out :D

Aha that really is fantastic news. I had of course completely forgotten the issue so had to read the thread again, but yeah great news and congrats on your winnings.
