Keep away! It's a total Rip off! I chose not to take the first deposit bonus, and opted for "no bonus" as I find it impossible to wager a wager on a bonus....... And I STILL had to wager x5 my £10 deposit? I've never heard of this before. I contacted live help to confirm this was true and its the sites rules, and helps against money laundering. So the money I did win , which was around 50, had to be wagered five times, so ended up losing out BIG TIME, stay clear guys!

Hello Joanneollier and welcome to the forum

Whilst I agree that the fact you had to wager your own deposit 5 times without even accepting a bonus is ridiculous, this would have been stated in the casinos terms and conditions. Did you not read these before you deposited?

A huge part of online operators apply 1 x turnover min to any deposits. This is to ensure they met existing Anti Money Laundering /AML/ requirements set in place by their regulators. So, having such a term within casino rules is in fact a must and not some weird casino whim.

However, requiring players to turn their deposit 5 or more times is simply ridiculous and has nothing to do with any AML requirements I am in aware of. It looks more like another shady tactic...

Although I cannot join this casino I took the liberty of looking into this casino and my personal opinion; o darn no! a little bit too cheap layout and the games are pretty cheap too (except Microgaming). Most of the slots are bingo sites slots and this casino probably runs by the same company as the bingo sites.

Even if I could sign up there I won't. In this case I say to you Lucky Admiral ; hit the road jack!

Yep completely agree, however the player could have avoided this ridiculous term had they had read the terms beforehand. I know I certainly wouldn't deposit with this rule in place.

The 1x turnover your own deposit is required by most online casinos, in order to prevent money laundering. I can fully understand and accept this rule. But 5 times turnover is madness. Why do casinos that? As if they try to lure a player  :girl_devil:

I guess casinos know that some players won't read the terms, I mean come on some of us are guilty of it here. I hold my hands up myself, it's these players that fall short of this absurd term. I'm pretty sure that if every one read the terms this particular casino would have fewer depositors based on this terms alone.

I didnt check the terms and conditions as I would of never thought even for a second there would be any wagering on own money without a bonus,so shocking

It is a shocking term absolutely, but maybe you should check the terms from now on in your future casinos and good luck  :p
