Strategies to play slots

Recommended Posts

I began to play recently, so I want to know if any of tou uses any atrategies in playing slots? Is it possible at all?
Interesting question but so called strategies are not allowed. As to beginner I would recommend you to stay with us and browse this forum and ask any question related to gambling if you are unsure about something. Its also very important for you to read Casino Terms and Conditions before making deposit and of course not all casinos are descent so make sure you check the casino before depositing or simply, ask us! Good luck! :hi:

Hi Zioliern and welcome to the AskGamblers forum. :)

Yes, we all use one and the same strategy when it comes to playing casino slots... And it's called... passion, garnished with greed! Lots of it. :p

Seriously, there is NO such thing as slot strategy, unless you are a close friend of Lady Luck or at least have her mobile. ;)

Nice guys!  :D

So if there are no strategies besides passion garnished with greed and lady luck`s number, so I`d like to thank you and that`s why.

I`ve been a lot of time on other forums and there were said tha there are amount of slots strategies. And a lot of articles there is about strategies of playing slots)

Moreover there is the same fail with bonuses as they engage for $1500 without wager requirements)

I`ve though they are a very rich casinos indeed!

Play smart is the best plan by this I mean bet only 1-2% of your gambling bankroll at once per spin.

Have designated slots where you are planning to exceed this and stick to these couple(visit these games once you are way up in money)

Most importantly don't tilt(deriving from don't tilt over the edge) this obviously means don't get angry at a slot it's a machine you have no control over the outcome.

Give a slot say 100 or so spins and if it's not paying out just leave and try another.

This rule could be extended for high risk slots like DOA and such but not too much as they will deplete your bankroll very quickly.

Finally play somewhere with great customer loyalty take for example you are buying a new mobile phone. If shop 1 has a phone with accessories and a top up voucher and free phone case and shop 2 only has the exact same phone and charger which deal would you pick?

Hope my advice helps you and good luck!!

Hello Zioliern

There has and always will be people that write articles about so called 'strategies'. In an industry where so much money is at stake it's inevitable that some people will think there's a way to cheat the system. However as our members here have already mentioned, slots will always be down to a game of luck. And that's a fact!

Some players like to have their own strategy, and when I use the word strategy what I mean there is a way in which they like to play and what works best for them. It doesn't mean and never will mean they are guaranteed to win.

I always think that you can of course ask anyone for advice and tips especially if you're new to gambling but when it comes to the way you play this should be decided by you and you only. After all its your hard earned money that's at stake.

However if you'd like some game suggestions and casino suggestions I'm sure many of our members here will be more than happy to help you out.

Has anyone come across the supplier Elk Studios? (We don't have them live at TradaCasino, in case you come looking for them!)

I noticed recently that they have built in 'strategies' that you can use, so the game automatically raises or lowers your stakes based on the strategy you choose.

I think it's a really interesting concept in gaming, and it will remains to be seen whether some of the bigger suppliers take this on board.

The two images I attached here are the following:

Leveller Strategy

Raises stake by two levels after five consecutive losses, up to a maximum of 10X bet size.

Jumper Strategy

Raises stake by one level every-time you hit a win.

Using strategies like this don't change your overall RTP of course, but I think it makes things a bit more interesting for the players.

It would be great to hear feedback from anyone who has tried it before, I'm always interested in adding new suppliers!

Rachel @ TradaCasino.

Here is the post with strategies you said not to use.. :D

1-2% of your gambling bankroll at once per spin. - it`s a good advise.. So let`s discuss here the way you play in slots instead of strategy..the number of reels you like to play, the calculation of probability to win, How it reflects in practice and so on.

Thanks for your answers, it became clear to me abou the strategies))

WOW  :shok:

I never knew this! First of all Electric Sam is such an awful game IMO the wins are so low! Worse than 300 Shields! But I never knew it had these built in strategies. It's something I'd NEVER personally use! I like to change my bet just whenever I feel like. I don't do it after I've won/lost a certain amount I simply do it as and when I feel like. So this is something that would never be of any use to me,

However it's such an interesting topic and thanks for sharing it Rach! I can't wait to hear everyone's feedback on this!

I played the jumper one on The lab with a decent profit you'll need a good bankroll to do most of these elk gaming ones but if they work it could pay off. As I said only consider these if you have the money to do so. Ie if you just won massive on DOA etc...

Well, just think for a sec... A software company producing casino games offering a strategy to beat and win its own games?

So much with this so called 'innovations' from Elk Studios... My personal opinion of course...

There is only your own strategy :) What works for you might not work for others :)

If the strategies could be specified I would definitely use it. Like if you could choose to raise stakes after certain amount of spins and if you could choose the stake yourself :) Hope it make sense

So generally I think in slots there is only one strategy to spread your money and spend them in the most harmless for your purse way..) the ither variance is to go step by step and hope the probebility theory will resolve all of your problems.. or...will make new))

For new gamblers, whatever strategy they put into use bears little or no functionality at all in trying to make a win. Why? Simply because new gamblers do not know what they are up against!

It's like playing CHESS in a lot of ways. It's never like playing CHECKERS!

Playing Chess requires DEEP KNOWLEDGE of the game, PLANNING each move of your pieces, ANTICIPATING your opponent's moves...and most importantly STRATEGIZING your gameplay with each and every step in the game!!!

Do you know that chess experts already know which 'strategy' you are trying to use by the time you make your 2rd move? If you're an inexperienced chess player, he'll have you in CHECKMATE in just 6 moves! If you're an expert too, it'll take much longer for anyone to win, because the strategy in each move keeps changing all the time! Now this is what I call KNOWING YOUR OPPONENT^_^

So...what has this got to do with playing slots? The answer is...EVERYTHING!!!

When you play any slot game, you are actually playing a game of chess-alike. If you don't know the game, if you have no knowledge (experience) in the game, if you don't know what the game can do to you...you'd be in CHECKMATE in no time at all! But, of course, slots is NOT Chess, so some lucky winners do get away with sudden unexpected wins...all others...may win or lose depending on STRATEGY, SKILL & LUCK!!!

When I say STRATEGY, I do not mean those 'strategies' provided in some games, as Rachel has so described. I don't believe in them and I'll never use them either. The strategy that I was referring to is YOUR OWN GAMEPLAY STRATEGY THROUGH KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE of the game you are playing! If you don't use this...or NEVER used it either...as some of us do...then winning is left PURELY TO LUCK...and that is like winning the lottery!  :p

So...if you're asking me "how to win???"...  :unknw: ...my answer is...KNOW YOUR OPPONENT FIRST!

By this, I mean play the game, see how it behaves, know when it is eating time and when it is paying time...and also know when to anticipate a coming win or loss! Who says anything is easy??? Is it ever easy to become a Chess Expert???  :p

In my opinion, there is no way to know or even have a hunch about when the slotmachine will pay. Sometimes you can win huge 3 spins in a row and sometimes you can go 1000 spins without any significant wins. That's why I always play the same way and try not to get carried away if I hit a big losing streak, with emphasis on TRY xD

Almost the same words were used when I made my first ever gambling guide years ago... Afi, you are 101% right about that mate.
