U.S Players & Winning Limit?

Recommended Posts

Hi All!

I've followed askgamblers.com for some time now and really love the site! If possible I would like some feedback on players and/or staff that may know the answer to some of these questions/comments for U.S. Players.

I used to have a gambling website 'back in the day' when microgaming (I miss them!!) allowed U.S. Players.. it seemed as though when I played I never had a problem of winning over $500++ and of course now with the ban of online gambling, we are forced to "hope" for a good online casino to trust and one that will be good on withdrawals.

So my comment and evaluation is that over the past year or so, I'll be lucky to get any balance amount close to $500 and once I get to that point I quickly start loosing my money and sometimes I'll deposit $50 and every time and within an hour its gone. I'll even stick to betting 0.50 each time and its quickly gone (I know gambling but I've been online gambling for a long time and see the difference).

Its been exactly a year and half since I have cashed out. Its crazy..I have played at one casino for over 7 years and had won numerous times up until I was basically cut off from winning or maintaining any substantial amount..

Is it possible there is a win limit on U.S. players? can or are we allowed to win any progressive pots? Can anyone from U.S. say that they have won any amount over $500 in the past year?

Has anyone else from the U.S. had this problem?

Thanks for your help

TexasJackie

Hello TexasJackie and welcome to the AskGamblers forum. :)

Glad you love our website, this is what we are working for so hard, to have such a great feedback from you, the players. :good:

Now, regarding your questions...

...Is it possible there is a win limit on U.S. players?...

Nope, I don't think so. A quick look across our complaints section and the complaints submitted against most of the RTG powered casino brands in particular will show you that actually US players are winning, some of them a lot. Unfortunately, the troubles start afterwards when a withdrawal request has been requested... :(

...can or are we allowed to win any progressive pots? Can anyone from U.S. say that they have won any amount over $500 in the past year?

Yes, of course. I could advice again to check the complaints section, we have numerous complaints referring to US players who hit some RTG Progressive Jackpot and then having serious troubles withdrawing their winnings over time.

Hope that helps, but in case you have more questions feel free to bother me anytime. ;)

I chat with a few gamblers from the USA regularly on another forum (hopefully I'll start to chat to some like yourself here soon too!) and can promise you that plenty of USA players are winning lots of money on a regular basis. As ValDes pointed out though, getting your money out can be a nightmare, particularly if you win a large progressive and then have limits of just a few hundred/thousand dollars per week or even MONTH of allowable withdrawals.

From what I understand the Club World group of RTG casinos (start with High Noon, I like them best!) are the most trustworthy of the bunch, but thats not a guarantee you will will win there of course, only that they have great support and will endeavour to pay you as quickly as possible, and as a USA player, I'd guess those things matter to you a whole lot.

All the best let us know how you get on over there ! :)

Thank you ValDes and Raverbabe for your comments. I have played at Jackpot Capital for years and just recently within the past 6 months played at All Stars and High Noon all RTG of course. I know the withdraw process they have to limit how much they can send weekly or monthly which will work I don't mind waiting as long as their good on paying.

I wonder if U.S. will ever get with the program and setup online casinos - would be nice to have big tycoons like Microgaming back - I trusted them the most when playing way back when.

Thanks again for your help - I'll let ya know if I ever hit any big winnings.

Heh TexasJ hope you've had a cash out since you posted!

The advice-thought below isn't necessarily for you but I hope you see the relevance. Its a couple of thoughts on psychology, as a casino player going through a dry spell I find it effects me, first knowingly or not it starts to haunt me, you know just eat away.

And I start to realise all crappy things my casino does, Why does every chat start with 'heh how are you?' When they know I've just spanked my bankroll. Why since the animations speeded up on thunderstruck do i never hit the great bonuses anymore. Etc etc. What can also happen is i start chasing losses! Not straight away (session still starts with 25cent bets), but as i eek through bankroll, getting annoyed at the same old pattern,i put in the odd 50cent and when down to $4. 'What the ***** it makes no difference' and before i know it i lost 10% of my bankroll on last spin.

Anyway my point is, a dry spell often affects our gameplay.

So some maths' if you are playing 50cent and only 50cent at 1000 spins an hour I expect you will still have some bankroll at the point the hour is up 25% of the time. (Med volatility slot).

So what is advice, 1) i pick a new brand for some of my gameplay, could be old casino i used or just sister brand of my favorite', it gives me a fresh start. 2) plan and monitor my play, is hour sessions at 50 cents, recording max win, number bonuses, max balance, end balance.

Lots of people like doing this, for me it sucks, sapping the fun from it.

But and here is the gotcha, it resets my thinking, breaks the cycle gives me a fresh start. So when ready I go back to my favorite and it is not just fun again but I'm not associating any negativity.

OK. Long post over breakfast, apologies but hope was interesting point of view if nothing else!

And we always welcome everyones point of view! And I'm glad you've found something that works for you!

That's the thing with gamblig isn't it, what works for one might be a total disaster for another, I always think its important to have your own thing, but its great to hear others too!
