Game of Thrones slot - Coming to Microgaming

Recommended Posts

I played Game of Thrones again...this time at Thrills...played both the 243 ways and the 15 paylines version.

Results were much better at Thrills. Got several free spins game, and even 2 scatters that paid a whopping $25! (2 Scatter wins are randomly paid...from x1 to x??). My balance actually rose by quite a good amount, but eventually lost it all after continuous playing (testing the game out!)

How big can GoT pay? I wouldn't know...but the paytable doesn't really support this!  :(

Hmmm, I noticed two games in Redbet, but I thought it's just doubled by accident :D

So, there are two versions of this slot? I know I played 243 ways one. What's the biggest difference?

Okaaay...the 243 ways game start at 0.30 bets, the 15 paylines at 0.15 bets.

15 paylines doesn't pay as good as 243 ways can do, especially when 5 of a kinds are on the reels.

Play time is about the same...$30 at $0.30 bets will last just as long as $15 at $0.15 bets.

Paytable is the same...but 243 ways has better chances of getting wins regularly.

Both can pay good...both can eat your credits up...the choice is yours darliiiing!  ^_^

But I find the free games very disappointing! No matter which I choose...8 free spins at x5 win or 14 free spins at x2 win...all disappoints! Not once did I get a good payout from the selected Throne icon. When I choose the top yellow icon, only the purple, red and whites come out. When I choose the purple (the lowest paying Throne icon) the yellow and red keep coming! Geees! Only once did I get a win with the white icon. None from the yellow, red or purple.  :(

Oooooooh, sooo, when you choose one of the free spins icons, you are chasing that icon in the game, during the free spins??

Yes darling. Only the icon that you choose will become stacked in the free spins. The other icons remain single. The only way to win big is to get those stacked icons with the wild symbols. Needless to say, the yellow icons are the highest paying ones, so are most difficult to get!  ^_^

Okaaaay... I got 100 free credits from a well known and reputable casino (thank you guys, but won't mention your name :p) to try exclusively their 243-ways-to-win version of Game Of Thrones slot. And the results are as follows:

Total amount of spins made - ~690

Bets used - only 0.30 per spin

Total numbers of free spins features  - 4 (All 4 choices were 8 spins x 5 multiplier)

Best feature result - 45 x bet

Worst feature result - 9 x bet

Best win - 47 x bet

Conclusion: As a huge fan of George R.R. Martin and his awesome "A Song Of Fire And Ice" and the series based on it, Game Of Thrones, I'm truly disappointed by Microgaming! Although the overall graphic and music experience is at a decent level, the game itself pays ***** most of the time. Not that I was expecting some huge wins, but even Jurassic Park is more generous when it comes to generating winnings in excess of 15-20 x in the base game. And the free spins feature...soooo disappointing! :(

Anyways, despite my bad start I do not plan to give up any time soon, and hope for some good hits to show you at the end of 2015. ;)

How rude.

We always mention casino names where we played good or bad, I don't see a reason (except to play with my nerves) of keeping it as a secret this time.

Tut tut! :p

I got this 100 free credits as a gesture of good will and appreciation from a casino which received a couple of thousands in deposits from me. ;) What I'm doing with my own money and gambling is my own business and of course, it gives me the right of choosing whether to mention the casino name or not. ;)

Okay, your will.

But I'm not used to see some mysteries and secrets when it comes to bonuses and casinos we are talking about here.

And especially I'm not used to see such a disrespect from anyone telling me - Not of your business.

It sounds rough.

Had no intentions to sound rude in any way, sorry.

Aaaaand, after our little family quarrel here (as if we were members of Lannister and Stark houses :D) it is about time to report yet another disappointing session of playing Game Of Thrones slot at Fun mode...

Total number of spins made - 2120

Best win - 56 x bet

Total number of features - 11

Best feature result - ~80 x bet

Worst feature result - big, fat zero

Hmm, the more I play this game the worse my overall impressions become. Shame, it could have been the next insane big hit from Microgaming, but I seriously doubt that would ever happen, providing the fact that the game pays just ***** most of the time and it is virtually impossible to survive until the big win comes eventually. :( My personal opinion though...

Well, Guru mate...I have always relied on my rather good instincts...and games that didn't come up to my expectations when first played have remained non-hits in general.

Recent examples of such games are Sunny Scoops and Flux (now including Arcader) from Thunderkick, quite a few new games from NetEnt, and also including Game of Thrones from MG.

I'm not disappointed really, but frankly speaking, I wish there'll be at least one really good game from Quickfire or MG that I can enjoy playing and make it one of my favourite. Ah well...in 5 years time maybe...  :D

Well, I've always appreciated your feedback, mate. Even when we were on the opposite opinions in the few rare cases. :good:

In my humble opinion, Microgaming is relying TOO much on all these 243-ways-to-win clones in the last couple of years. While NetEnt for example is constantly challenging the entire industry with revolutionary new designs and features.

in my experience new games never paid me big time (in the beginning), in fact they sucked my balance very quick. So I think I'll wait for a while and then I'll give GoT a chance :)

I do believe that this game has the potential to give big wins!

Of course it has the potential to produce big wins since it offer a feature with stacked wilds and 5x multiplier after all. :)

However, I'm not quite agree with your "empty/full" theory as it does not correspond in any way with a video slot, controlled by a Random Number Generator. ;)

I know you don't ValDes :D but do you know how RNG works? if you do, please explain it to me. I would gladly to read it. I know they have RNG but I think that generator is broken :p

I know how it is SUPPOSED and SHOULD work. However, IF it is working that way I cannot guarantee myself as I don't have the software and the necessary tests in front of me. After all, I am just a fellow guru here, not a laboratory, but I trust 100% to what GLI and eCOGRA are saying and approving. ;)

Hahaha, I know that, but didn't imagine that you get such a precise and overall stats :)

I personally used to write down, when I was trying some casinos and bonuses, if I was changing a lot of games while playing, so I can make a review of my whole playing session, here on forum :D

It looked something like: Game Name - boring, gave me nothing, Game Name - my bet per spin was 0.50, I received free spins blabla, Game Name: nothing special, gave me almost nothing, just some small wins etc. :)
