Playtech Slot - Stakes Change

Recommended Posts

Lately i have been playing The Avengers, a playtech slot, and i have a problem with this machine!!!

A few months ago i played this slot and hit the feature with a 20p spin, the feature payed out a wealthy £32.48, during the feature i managed to select around 6-8 different feature free game modes.

The same thing happened a few days later from a 20p spin, this time i received £29.60

Yesterday and the day before i started playing this slot again, this time i was playing £5 and £10 per spin.

During my session, i managed to hit the feature 5 times!!!

The features payed terrible, especially the 1 time i hit on a £10 spin, it payed £117.50, thats just over 11X my stake, not happy!!!

The best i managed was £257 from a £5 bonus hit but only managed 2 free spin games.

So my theory is, the higher the stake, the smaller amount of money you get for your stake!?

Also, during the 2 hours of play i never managed  to get onto the marvel jackpots screen, has anyone ever had this bonus?

And does stopping the reels have any effect on gameplay?

your views please

thanks

george

George, are you really serious with that post?! :o  I thought an experienced gambler like you is perfectly in aware that a random slot game would be aboslutely impossible to predict?! Not to mention that your example with only several features out of probably a few hundred spins is totally insufficient to build some serious conclusions...

I have hit the Marvel Random Jackpots several times back in 2009 and 2010, but only two of them worth mentioning as they were the Extra Power ones, both for serious amounts (at least from my point of view). :D The highest bet used when hitting those jackpots was only 1.00 per spin and the biggest one felt on 0,20 bet per spin while playing Fantastic Four. I was maintaining something as a statistic till the end of 2011 when I played in a Playetch casino for the last time and the results, regarding Marvel Jackpots are as follows:

Total spins made on Marvel based slots - aprox. 250 000

Number of Marvel Random Jacpots hit - 7, two Extra Power and 5 Power

Biggest set of spins without Random Jackpot - around 150 000 spins

Lowest set of spins without Random Jackpots - around 1000 spins !

As for stopping the reels or not, I think it does not affect the outcome of the spin in any way. Actually, I'm totally convinced in that... :D

Sorry if i came across as a bit of a jerk.

I've had a bad week, made a profit of £1900 and gave £1400 back to the casino!

Mainly Gala who took £1100, i asked them to block me from cancelling a pending withdrawal but they said they couldn't do that, shame im very weak in them situations :(

Anyway, despite making a £500 profit from £100 i shouldn't really be complaining.

Maybe i did get lucky with them first 2 feature hits at 20p, and got very unlucky with my higher stake hits.

Either way, i will continue to chase them marvel jackpots.

Valdes another question, when you get into the jackpot mode, can you take as long as you want and wait for the smaller jackpots to build up?

cheers for your response

I would recommend you to try your luck in the Marvel Random Jackpot screen immediately, once and if it appears eventually! :D

Unless you want to experience the same negative emotions, just as you have already did with the free spins feature at Gala...

And do not forget that the outcome of the jackpot is actually predifined and locked to the amounts, assigned to the different jackpots at the time of triggering the jackpots. ;)

All this complaining about marvel jackpots and i win a power one (£163) playing Hulk! :o

There is a timer and it automatically picks the puzzle pieces if you do not choose them yourself.

Valdes sometimes i am scared of your response(s) but do you think this is a possibility....Normal spins give you more wins but when you stop the reels you have more chance of hitting 4 or 5 scatters but you get less wins?

Every time i have hit 4 or 5 scatters it has been from quick stops!

Scared of my response(s)?! :o  Come on George, you must be kidding with the old dog ValDes, right! :D Seriously, the reason why I probably sound a bit sharp from time to time with you, my friend, is that you are an experienced gambler and you are expected to know some basics about the online gambling. ;)

Now, back on your question. I don't believe in the theory that stopping the reels could possibly change something. Don't forget that the outcome of the spin is predefined just nanoseconds after you have pressed the Spin button, so whether you will leave the reels spin freely or stop them manually does not affect it any way. Actually, I think it is all a matter of the notorious gambling superstitions, you know. :D Take me for example. I never ever press the Spin button when playing Immortal Romance, I use only the autospin option and always select the 100 spins set. Is this a successful strategy? No, not at all, it's just a pure example of how weird most of us, the gamblers, actually are! :D

I'm with you on Gambling superstitions, call me weird but sometimes i foresee an outcome 10-20 minutes before it has actually happened.

example: i was playing 100'000 pyramid (IGT) and after a 100 or so spins i foresaw the bonus symbols appearing on reels 1 4 and 5, and it dropped just how i imagined.

Sometimes i am certain i will lose my balance playing a certain slot and i carry on spinning to see if my superstition is true, and it always is.
