A bank draft is another term to describe a bank draft (check in the US). This is a slip of paper or electronic instruction that authorizes the transfer from one bank account to another. It is commonly used as a withdrawal method from many online casinos, but a few do offer it as a method of deposit as well.

Any casino that is safe to play at but not in the Top 50 list is located here. Please note that none of these casinos have shown fraudulent behavior in the past (those casinos are in the Rogue Casinos list). Your experience at any of these casinos should be perfectly fine.

    Depositing with Bank Draft

If you'd like to make a deposit with a bank draft, you will either need to mail the physical bank draft to the casino or an electronic transfer protocol. Either way, you will need to have enough funds in your current account.

If you are depositing via mail, you will want to make sure that you have written it out to the correct institution and that are using the correct mailing address. Consider sending it with a tracking service or protection to ensure that it reaches its destination. It may help to inform a casino support representative that a bank draft is on the way. The rep may also be able to provide a timeframe of when it will be deposited into your account.

Alternatively, the casino may use an electronic bank draft processor, commonly referred to as ACH. Through this method, you'll either need to initiate the transfer on your end, or provide the casino with enough information to conduct the transfer themselves.

    Withdrawing via Bank Draft

If you decide to withdraw your funds through a paper bank draft, it will likely be listed as “cheque/check” in the casino cashier. Before you submit your request through the system, check that the mailing address on your account is current. Also ensure that you fully understand the casino's policy when it comes to withdrawing through this method. Many online casinos will charge a fee, but you may be able to waive it if you are a VIP member or are withdrawing a large sum of money. We recommend discussing this with a support representative before making your withdrawal.

    Advantages of Bank Draft

The biggest advantage of using a bank draft to deposit or withdraw is its simplicity. As long as you have a bank acccount, you can send money to a casino and receive money from a casino without having to register with any third-party payment processors. This saves you both time and effort.

    Disadvantages of Bank Draft

If you deposit with a paper bank draft, you will have to wait several business days to receive the funds in your account. Because of this, you will almost certainly want to consider other methods that a casino has to offer.

Depending on your bank, it may take several days for the funds from a bank draft to clear. Combined with the amount of time it takes to mail the bank draft, it can be upwards of one week before you finally receive your funds. Withdrawal via bank draft is certainly not the fastest method of getting paid in most jurisdictions. If you want faster access to your money, consider using a bank transfer or a third-party e-wallet instead.
