Silver Oak Casino - Unjustified Refusal to pay

posted on October 8, 2015.

I hit a jackpot of 17k+ and continued playing with total winnings over 23K. I continued to play and lost down to 4500.19. The required documentation was provided. Silver Oak has refused to pay stating that I mixed money. The jackpot was won on money I deposited. However, I did use a coupon code and played with that after I won the jackpot. I played the coupon all the way down to the amount I had prior to using the coupon. Now Silver Oak refuses to pay my original request.

Update: Silver Oak sent an email last evening 08Oct2015 at 9:22pm EST, stating they would honor my winnings. Today, 09Oct2015 at 1:21pm EST, they sent another email stating they would only give me $100 of my winnings. By all means STAY AWAY FROM THAT CASINO!!!

Hi gibsj,

While I understand your disappointment, the bottom line is you did not follow the Terms and Conditions and this has been explained to you on several occasions. Since you’re still not clear on this, I’ll try to explain, once again.

You made a deposit in the amount of $52 on 9/28 and with that you used Coupon TRITON290, which added $150.80. Your total starting balance was $202.80. That same day, by 9:14 PM, your balance went all the way down to $0.20.

Four minutes later (9:28 PM), you activated a $100 free chip (FREECHIP11229). While playing on that free chip, you accumulated $2,783.80 in your Bonus Balance, which you converted. This brought your balance to $2,784.00. You continued playing until you built up your balance to $10,000.70—and even converted some additional comp points, thereafter.

“The jackpot was won on money I deposited. “

This is patently untrue. I’ve seen the logs and again, you played your deposit down to $.20, and THEN added the free chip FOLLOWED by comps. All of this is strictly against our Terms and Conditions, which are posted clearly:

You may not mix or combine promotions or bonuses. If multiple bonuses are mixed, your casino winnings may be removed at she time of withdrawal. Please be sure to use only one bonus at a time. Unless osherwise indicated by she casino management, you cannot redeem additional coupons if you have a withdrawal pending or if you have an existing balance.

As explained previously, the only allowable withdrawal on this would be $100.

I hope this better explains things.

Dear @gibsj,

Are you satisfied with the casino's response, can we close this complaint as resolved? Please be aware that if you fail to respond within the given time frame we will consider this case as resolved and officially closed. Thank you.

I really did not expect Silver Oak to be truthful or pay what they owe. One of their own employees agreed that they would 'honor' their end of the bargain, only to retract it. In the rebuttal above, Silver Oak successfully revealed some of the tactics they employ to avoid paying players. The only thing that is 'patently untrue' is the integrity of that 'casino'. Let the readers decide...people can vote with their money.

We consider this complaint unresolved because casino management did not present evidence regarding this case.

This complaint has been reopened upon casino's request and we would really like to give it one more chance and help both parties involved to reach to a satisfactory resolution.
