888casino - Software bug - hard to get justice

posted on September 1, 2012.

Hello there!

I have been playing for just a few weeks at the 888 casino and had some 'software issues'

I was playing the online game (flash) and all went well. I played pretty nice stakes with bets up to 300 euro per hand. Then at one point I got 11 against a 3 for the bank so i doubled, which made my bet 600 euro's. The bank got to 17 so I won 1200, and then things went wrong: The table got stuck and I did not get my winnings. I was not able to do anything anymore, everything froze. I was smart enough to make a screenshot as I was afraid it could be a hassle to get what I deserved....

I contacted support via the live chat and told them my story. From there things got bad and they did not take me seriously at all. I mentioned explicitly to the support guy that he had to make sure I got my 1200 and not only the 600 I bet (cause I had the feeling this was going to happen)

And yes, this was exactly what happened (After several days, the support is reaaaaaaally slow, for technical support they tell you it can take up to 5 days). So I got 600 back and no explanation what so ever, nothing about the screenshot I had sent, or the chat I had with the support guy.

So I was pretty pissed off (but still playing cause I had money in my bankroll) and then it happened again!!!! Almost exactly the same: this time doubling my 300 bet to 600 on 11 against a 5, and the dealer got busted. Again I got the message 'you win 1200' and again everything froze.

So again I contacted support, but it is so slow and so unsatisfying, they treat me like I am an idiot.

In the meanwhile I have got 1200 back from them (2 times the 600 bet) but not the 1200 I won (also two times 600), so I am still emailing with them ( which takes aaaaaages :((( )

And yes,

it has happened a 3rd time

different amounts and cards, but still...
