Whenever a casino offers a bigger percentage match for the final stage of their welcome bonus package I usually find myself powering through the middle stages to reach it and quite often end up feeling a little silly for effectively wasting the earlier bonuses because of the bigger offer waiting for me once I've cleared those prior stages. That didn't happen at Monte Carlo though as I managed a profit from my no deposit bonus, a win from my 2nd deposit bonus, and a withdrawal albeit with a small loss from my 3rd deposit bonus as well. I wasn't in any particular rush to use this final 100% match offer but as I was planning a night of slots and booze Monte Carlo was the obvious choice of casino to make my deposit with and the only real quandry was working out how much I ought to deposit!

The maximum bonus amount for this offer is £250 and although I did have that much in my e-wallet at the time I wasn't really sure that I ought to go the whole hog this particular day as I wasn't very rich and should I fail to complete the wagering requirement attached to this bonus money I would definitely have been in a bit of a muddle financially for the rest of the week. After what felt like an eternity of deliberations I eventually decided to deposit only the £150 I had taken out of the casino after my last session, still a reasonably chunky amount of money but I reasoned with myself that I could easily have lost this amount the last time I played at this casino and so therefore had basically nothing to lose by putting it back in to take advantage of this bonus deal.

The 40x wagering (bonus amount only) gave me a target of £6,000 to clear in order to convert my balance to cash and I decided to get started with Dead or Alive as I had done during my last session because I hadn't had any wild line bonus rounds or sets of five scatters on that occasion and felt that surely the game owes me something special by this point... right?! I set my bet at 0.72, a little higher than I normally go for but I figured I would drop it back down if I wasn't having much luck by the time I lost half of my balance. Things didn't go very well though and it took less than an hour to reach the £150 mark, making me wonder if I should lower my bets to something that would last a little longer or up them further still in the hope of catching a balance saver of epic proportions.

Well, being a typically adventurous gambler I went with the option of increasing up to 1.35 per spin and despite hitting a few bonus rounds over the next hour, my balance was only going in one direction. I had resolved to this being a dead end session when I finally hit four scatters with less than £40 on my account and had a wild on all five reels (but no wild line) bringing me back up to a semi-respectable £200 or so. At this stage I decided to change games and had a few hundred spins on several of my other NetEnt favourites but my biggest win was only around 100x my stake and I just couldn't manage to get myself in front no matter what game or bet size I tried.

Final result? I cleared wagering with just £30 left on my account, and took that over to Blackjack to try and double my way up to a big balance.... what do you know, for a change IT WORKED! My heart was pounding like a jack hammer on my final bet of £256, and I literally laughed out loud when an ace followed by a ten appeared on screen for a win of £640 and a finishing balance of £1,204.50. I'd spent hours and hours playing slots without anything exciting happening yet had suddenly managed a jump from £30 to over £1,200 in the space of less than ten minutes. The monster inside me was screaming at me to place a couple more bets, try a £512, or another couple of £256 ... I'm so glad I resisted these urges and took my money and ran as the profit I made has paid for a holiday to Budapest next year for me and my fella with a whole lot of gambling budget left over as well!

I haven't been back to Monte Carlo as yet, but this has definitely been something of a "lucky" casino for me up this point and therefore I'm determined to see if that luck could continue once I am no longer using their bonus offers. Wish me luck guys, and give them a try yourselves too!

I decided to take this bonus a few days after I had a successful play in this casino. I had problems getting the 20 free spins no deposit bonus which I signed up for and after a few days everything was cleared and I finally got my free spins and was able to play for a while in this casino.

I have to say that if those free spins weren’t added to my account I would have just moved on and never play in this casino. But since they were so kind to admit their mistake I decided to return the favor and make a deposit here and try my luck. At that time I had a solid balance on my Neteller after a successful withdrawal so now the time came to spend it all searching fora bigger win. I contacted live chat first to confirm that I am eligible for the 100% match bonus and after getting a positive answer I made a 20 euros deposit via Neteller. The bonus money was instantly added to my account without any problems so I had a descent balance of 40 euros to play with.

The bonus had a descent 40 x wager which isn’t much when you’re playing NetEnt slots. I decided to start with Flowers. I have been playing this game a lot lately and had some success. Here I got only one bonus round which paid about 8 eurosand I was back to where I started. I didn’t want to risk it anymore so I started moving from slot to slot looking for a quick win.

I tried Medusa, Twin Spin, Starburst and Big Bad Wolf but I just didn’t have luck in hitting any descent win on any slot. I played here for about 2 hours before I went bust. I’m not sure if I will come back to play again because of the problems I had but at least I gave them a chance.
